Lookout Park: Public Planning Meeting 1 Recap

Lookout Park: Public Planning Meeting 1 Recap

Published: Wednesday, May 20, 2026

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the first public planning meeting for Lookout Park. If you weren’t able to attend, we want to make sure you still have a chance to be part of the process — your input matters just as much.

During the meeting, we walked through a set of feasibility concepts for the park’s future. These concepts explore a range of possibilities, including new playground areas and play features, path improvements using paved or crushed stone surfaces, and different styles of outdoor recreation and gathering spaces. Nothing is decided yet — this is the stage where we want to hear from the community about what directions feel right.

The full presentation from the meeting is attached below. We encourage you to take a look and share your thoughts.

After reviewing the concepts, we’d love to hear what you think. What excites you? What are your concerns? Are there things you feel are missing from the proposals? All feedback is welcome and will be reviewed by our planning team.

Feedback deadline: June 12, 2026. Please submit your comments by this date so we can compile all community input ahead of our next public meeting, planned for the end of June (date to be confirmed).

We’ll share a summary of what we heard and present updated proposals at that second meeting. Stay tuned for the date announcement, and thank you for being part of shaping Lookout Park’s future.
