Trails Taekwondo Classes

Known for its high-energy kicks and powerful hand techniques, Taekwondo also emphasizes discipline, respect, and self-control. Our Taekwondo classes are designed to help you improve your physical fitness, learn effective self-defense, and build mental resilience. Each Taekwondo class (or tai kwon do) is based at the Trails Recreation Center in Centennial, Colorado, and is taught by a contractor – FMATC (Family Martial Arts Training Center).

4 Benefits of Enrolling in a Youth Taekwondo Class:

  1. Builds Physical Strength and Flexibility
Taekwondo improves muscle tone, balance, coordination, and flexibility through kicks, stances, and dynamic movements.

  2. Boosts Confidence and Self-Esteem
As students master new skills and advance through belt levels, they gain a strong sense of accomplishment and self-confidence.

  3. Teaches Discipline and Focus
Structured classes emphasize respect, listening skills, and mental concentration, helping students develop self-control both on and off the mat.

  4. Promotes Self-Defense Skills and Awareness
Taekwondo equips participants with practical self-defense techniques while improving awareness and reaction time in real-world situations.
