Piney Creek Hollow Park

Built in 2004, this 46-acre park is one of the most popular parks within the Trails Park and Recreation District boundaries. In addition to its multiple sport fields, baseball diamond, playground, and access to the Piney Creek Regional Trail, Piney Creek Hollow also regularly hosts events like Summer Celebration, Egg Hunt, and Family Field Day.

Please obey the following rules, unless given prior written approval by Trails Park and Recreation District.

  • No defacing, misusing, or damaging park structures or facilities.
  • No overnight parking or repairing of vehicles, campers, trailers, or motor homes.
  • No climbing structures, roofs, or trees within park property.
  • No dumping organic, commercial, or household trash on park property.
  • No intoxicated persons or underage consumption of alcohol in the park.
  • Keep motorized vehicles on designated roads and parking spots.
  • No weapons of any kind.
  • No fireworks or fires.
  • Only gas BBQ grills are allowed.
  • No harassing or killing any animals.
  • No remaining on park property outside of posted hours: 5:00 am – 10:00 pm.
  • No amplified music or excessive noise.
  • No staking, piercing, or penetrating of athletic fields.
  • No practicing or playing golf on park property.
  • Keep bikes on designated roads or paths.
  • No littering or leaving trash behind.
  • No glass containers.
  • Keep dogs on a leash and clean up after your pets.
  • No using motorized flying objects in or around park property.
  • Please be courteous and respectful to other park users.
  • No posting signs or flyers.
  • Shelter, pavilion, and field usage for organized activities are only allowed with a TPRD permit.

With more than 20 fields available throughout the district, Trails Park and Recreation District is proud to support organized league play with flexible scheduling options and competitive rates. Field permits are available for organized leagues and are issued directly to league administrators, not to individual coaches or participants, to ensure clear and efficient coordination. We’re here to help set your league up for a successful season.

A: TPRD parks are open every day, from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm. 

Q: Who do I contact if I see damage or a maintenance issue?

A: Our team regularly inspects and maintains our parks, trails, and open spaces, but we also rely on help from the community to keep everything in great shape. If you notice a problem at a park, trail, or open space, please contact our Parks team using this form, and we’ll work to address it as quickly as possible.

Q: How can I reserve a field?

A: Currently, only organized leagues are able to reserve or permit our sports fields. You can learn more about how to permit a field here.

Q: Are dogs allowed at the park?

A: Dogs are welcome in most park areas when kept on a leash, unless otherwise posted.
