Village Park: 2026 Improvement Project (July Update)
Published: Tuesday, August 25, 2026
After months of planning and preparation, construction at Village Park has officially begun! July marked the first month of active work on site, and while things are just getting started, it’s exciting to see the project move from planning into action.
Construction Gets Underway
Crews mobilized at Village Park in July, with safety fencing installed around the construction zone and initial site clean-up completed to prepare the area for the work ahead. These early steps are an essential part of any project, helping ensure the site is organized, safe, and ready for the next phases of construction.
Looking Ahead to August
With mobilization and clean-up complete, crews will begin trenching in August to prepare for the new restroom facility. This underground utility work is a necessary early step before the restroom structure can be built, and it keeps the project on track as it moves through the summer construction season.
We’ll continue to share monthly updates here as the project progresses through Summer and into Winter 2026. Thank you for your patience as construction gets underway; we’re looking forward to bringing these new amenities — including the new play structure for children ages 2-5, restroom facility, and landscape, accessibility, and drainage improvements — to the community!
