Tall Grass Park: 2026 Improvement Project (July Update)

Construction at Tall Grass Park continues to move forward, and July brought a milestone the community has been watching for: the boardwalk is complete and installed.
Boardwalk Installation Complete
The new boardwalk is finished and in place, giving visitors safe, accessible passage through areas of the park that were previously difficult to navigate. This has been one of the most visible pieces of the project so far, and it’s exciting to see it come together after the site prep and earthwork completed earlier this summer.
Concrete Work Begins
Crews have also completed a few small sections of concrete work around the park, laying early groundwork for the pathways and hard surfaces that will connect the site as construction continues.
What's Next: A Brief Pause for Pickleball Court Prep
With the boardwalk finished and initial concrete work underway, the project is entering a short pause. The team is now waiting on Renner to prepare the site and install the two new pickleball courts, one of the most anticipated additions to the park. We’ll share an update here once that work resumes.
