Lookout Pool: Renovation (December 2025 Update)

Construction at Lookout Pool continued to make strong progress throughout June, with major structural milestones completed on the pool side and the bathhouse entering its final stage. Here’s a closer look at what crews accomplished this month.
Pool Construction Reaches Major Milestone
June brought a significant structural milestone: the leisure pool walls have been poured. Underground plumbing for both the leisure and lap pools has continued, and both pools have now been backfilled. With that work complete, crews have shifted their focus to preparing the pool deck and installing the underground utilities that will support the finished facility. Looking ahead, waterline tile installation is scheduled to begin in July.
Bathhouse Entering the Finish Stage
The bathhouse has entered the final stage of construction and is quickly taking on its complete appearance. Interior painting is nearly complete, FRP wall panels and rubber base have been installed, and most lighting fixtures are now in place. Plumbing fixtures, including sinks and toilets, are beginning to be installed as well.
Site Improvements Continue
Work continues across the broader site, including installation of trench drains, sanitary sewer infrastructure, and underground electrical and plumbing. Crews are also working on foundations for the waterslides, with slide caisson foundations underway and additional concrete work planned throughout the pool deck areas in the weeks ahead.
Utilities and Mechanical Systems
Inside the mechanical room, work continues to prepare the space for new pool mechanical equipment. Dry utility work is also underway, with electrical infrastructure advancing and the CORE Electric service connection anticipated later this summer.
