Lookout Pool: Renovation (April 16-30 Update)
Published: Tuesday, May 5, 2026
Bathhouse Interior Buildout Continues
Inside the bathhouse, work continued on interior wall construction and HVAC buildout. As the interior framing becomes more complete, the layout of the new facility becomes easier to see and more defined.
HVAC installation is an important part of the overall bathhouse construction process, helping prepare the building for proper airflow, ventilation, and temperature control. These systems will play a major role in creating a comfortable and functional space for future pool guests and staff.
Together, the wall and HVAC work represent continued progress on the behind-the-scenes systems that are essential to the long-term performance of the facility.
Lap Pool Walls Poured
One of the biggest milestones during the second half of April was the completion of the lap pool wall pour. With the walls now poured and the forms removed, the overall shape of the lap pool is much more visible on site.
This is a major structural step in the renovation process. After weeks of excavation, base preparation, rebar installation, and concrete work, the lap pool shell is continuing to come together in a very noticeable way. Removing the forms reveals the finished concrete walls and gives the community a clearer look at the size and layout of the future pool.
This progress marks another exciting point in the project as the lap pool moves closer to its next stages of construction.
Leisure Pool Rebar Work Continues
In the leisure pool area, crews continued placing rebar as they prepare for the next concrete phase. Rebar is a critical structural component that reinforces the pool shell and helps ensure long-term strength, stability, and durability.
Although this stage may look like slow progress from the outside, it is an essential step in building a pool that will perform well for many years to come. As rebar placement continues, the leisure pool is steadily moving closer to its concrete pour and further visible transformation.
Slide Tower Area Preparation Underway
Crews also began preparing the location for the future slide tower. This early site work is an important part of getting the area ready for the structural supports and installation work that will follow.
Preparing the slide tower location now helps ensure that this feature will have the foundation and support needed for safe, long-term operation. As this work progresses, it marks another exciting step toward bringing one of the project’s most anticipated elements to life.
Looking Ahead
The second half of April brought continued momentum to the Lookout Pool renovation project. With the lap pool walls now poured, bathhouse systems continuing to take shape, and progress underway on both the leisure pool and slide tower area, the project is moving steadily forward.
As construction continues into May, the community can expect to see even more visible changes across the site as major features and structures continue to come together. We appreciate the community’s continued patience and support and look forward to sharing more updates as progress continues at Lookout Pool.
