Conestoga Room Back in Service
A major milestone this month is that the Conestoga Room is back in service and available for use again. While the room is functional and open, there are still a few minor punch list items remaining before everything is fully complete. These include replacing the wall partition and updating the lights, both of which are currently delayed due to longer delivery times.
Even with those final details still on the way, it is great to have the Conestoga Room back in operation and serving the community again.
Gold Rush Room Work In Progress
Work also moved forward steadily in the Gold Rush Room, where several key improvements are actively taking shape. In the kitchen area, cabinets are being installed, helping the refreshed space begin to look more complete and functional. Kitchen flooring has also been installed, adding another major finished element to the project.
Another exciting milestone is the installation of the stackable folding glass walls in the kitchen. This feature adds flexibility and gives the space a more modern feel, making it more adaptable for different programs, events, and uses.
In addition, restoration of the room divider is currently in progress, which will further improve the functionality of the room and support a variety of future setups.
Coming Up Next
As work continues in the Gold Rush Room, several important finishing pieces are still ahead. Upcoming items include:
- Carpet flooring installation
- Kitchen appliance installation
- Countertop installation in the Gold Rush Room kitchen
- Installation of the hanging kitchen display mirror
With these final elements on the schedule, the Gold Rush Room is expected to be completed by June 1. Each step brings the facility refresh closer to completion, and the progress made in April represents another important move forward in improving these community spaces.
