Trails Recreation Center: Facility Refresh (November 2025 Update)

The Trails Recreation Center Refresh continues to move forward with steady momentum, and November marked an important transition from demolition to reconstruction. After October’s foundational work—which included demolishing the former game room to prepare for a brand-new community conference space, remodeling bathrooms and the existing conference room to support new office layouts, and removing flooring along key corridors—November brought visible signs of rebuilding and shaping the refreshed interior.
Framing the New Spaces
Early in the month, construction crews focused on framing, establishing the new walls and structural outlines that define how each redesigned space will function. This phase is always an exciting milestone, as the blueprints begin to come to life in three dimensions. The future conference room, new office areas, and updated program spaces now have form and flow, giving staff and visitors a glimpse of how these areas will soon support the community.
Painting and Electrical Work
Once framing wrapped up, teams moved into painting, adding a fresh, modern look to the renovated areas. Even at this early stage, the updated aesthetic brings new energy and brightness to the interior.
At the same time, technicians completed critical electrical installations across the project zones. These behind-the-scenes improvements ensure that lighting, technology, and equipment will operate safely and efficiently once the refreshed spaces open. Electrical work is one of the most important steps in any remodel, and its completion marks a significant milestone in the overall timeline.
Looking Ahead: December Progress
With foundational work nearing completion, December is expected to bring a wave of finishing touches. Crews plan to:
Install brand-new flooring throughout the remodeled hallways, offices, and program rooms
Begin furniture installation, bringing in the desks, seating, tables, and storage that will make these new spaces functional and inviting
These updates will dramatically transform the look and feel of the renovated areas and bring the project closer to completion.
