Summer at Trails Park and Recreation District is all about adventure, creativity, movement, and making memories—and Summer Camp 2026 is shaping up to be one of our most exciting seasons yet! With a wide variety of camps offered throughout the summer, there truly is something for every age, interest, and energy level.
To make planning easy for families, this blog breaks down our 2026 Summer Camp Schedule week by week. Each section includes the camps offered that week, the contractor or organization running the camp, a brief description of what campers can expect, daily times, available spots, and direct links to each camp listing.
Important Registration Notes
Camp availability is limited, and spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage families to review the schedule early and register as soon as possible to secure their preferred weeks and programs. Each camp listing includes full details, age requirements, and registration links.

Weekly Summer Camp Breakdown (2026)
Monday, May 25-Friday, May 29
Multi-Sport Camp (ages: 5-10): From shooting hoops on the basketball court to spiking volleyballs over the net to making a splash in the pool, our Multi-Sport Summer Camp will ensure that no two days are the same for participants. Kids ages 6-11 will be able to practice various sports, techniques, and positions while having fun with their friends.

STEM Challenge + Radical Rides using LEGO® (ages: 6-12): Let your imagination run wild all day long with tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! First, discover the world around us through our inquiry-based learning model and engineer-designed projects. Then, start your engines as you build and design an array of exciting machines, traversing land, sea, and air, with the assistance of your experienced Play-Well TEKnologies instructors. Learn about the engineering principles behind motors, gears, and everything that vrooms and zooms!

Big Hitters Volleyball (ages: 8-14): Dig into a boys and girls volleyball camp that’ll set your kids up for success. Big Hitters Volleyball Camp focuses on teaching participants how to better pass the ball, properly set, spike with accuracy, and serve both underhand and overhand. Whether your child is just getting into the sport or wanting to take their skillset to the next level, this youth volleyball camp will help them achieve their athletic goals.

Goal Setters (ages: 5-7): If you’ve been searching for summer soccer camps that you can enroll your child in that’ll teach them fundamental aspects of soccer, then look no further! This soccer for kids’ camp will teach them how to use their feet to help their team score goals while teaching offensive and defensive tactics playing different games. They’ll also have fun trying out various soccer positions and running around on the field.

Skateboarding (ages 5-18): Our goal at Rocky Mountain Shred School is to not only encourage students to learn fun life lessons through skateboarding, but to also encourage them to do well in other life disciplines. Our lessons and events focus on areas such as fun, trick basics, park etiquette and building confidence. All skill levels and abilities welcome.

Join our team of safe sword play, defeating dragons and bandits to make a universal story of high fantasy and wonder. Our Team will make a summer-long story arc with different challenges for children to make smart, informed decisions. This week is the first story point of the summer. The plot driven by the group’s choice will be a fun week of teamwork and growth.

In this challenge-based program, start by building engineer-designed projects and putting your creativity and problem solving into action. Global Food Adventures (ages: 5-8): Pack your bags, your taste buds are going on a trip! In Global Food Adventures, young chefs explore cuisines and cultures from around the world through fun, hands-on cooking activities. Lucky Stars Baseball (ages 6-8): Bring your glove and meet us at the baseball diamond at Piney Creek Hollow Park for a kids’ baseball camp that’s bound to be a home run this summer. Kids will learn the different techniques required for hitting, fielding, pitching, swinging, and base running while playing various positions around the field.

Junior Engineering with Lego® Bricks (ages: 4-5): Jr. Engineering camp is created for young kids who love to explore and build. Action Movie Flix (ages: 7-13): There’s no limits in your action-packed movie when using a green screen and camera tricks. Adventures await as you transport anywhere, from captaining a spaceship, to climbing the highest mountain. You’ll collaborate to write, act, & direct in this stunt packed movie where you’ll be taught action choreography to thrill the audience.
