Trails Taekwondo Classes

Known for its high-energy kicks and powerful hand techniques, Taekwondo also emphasizes discipline, respect, and self-control. Our Taekwondo classes are designed to help you improve your physical fitness, learn effective self-defense, and build mental resilience. Each Taekwondo class (or tai kwon do) is based at the Trails Recreation Center in Centennial, Colorado, and is taught by a contractor – FMATC (Family Martial Arts Training Center).

Participants in taekwondo classes require a one-time purchase of a protective gear package for $150 that students can use throughout their training (TKD Fundamentals does not require this package).

Tiny Tigers Taekwondo is a kids’ martial arts program that gives participants a peek into the world of Martial Arts.  Help your child learn how to increase their strength, coordination, balance, discipline and focus through different moves and positions.  Led by a martial arts instructor, kids will also be taught respect, integrity, perseverance and self-control.
Participants require a one-time purchase of a protective gear package for $150 that students can use throughout their training.

For Camo belt and above 4-6 year old Tiny Tigers or by instructor invitation.  The same values as the Beginner Tiny Tigers class well be taught with the addition of more advanced movement and theory.

For new students 7 years or older. Introduction to Beginner Taekwondo includes basic techniques and principles.  All new students must complete the TKD Fundamentals class with instructor approval to move to the Beginner Taekwondo.  Protective gear purchase is not required.

Beginner Taekwondo is part of our adult and kids martial arts program and teaches youth ages 7 and older the fundamentals of Taekwondo using a variety of drills, forms, pro-tech weapons basics, sparring, board breaks, and balance workouts. Participants will also learn about respect, integrity, perseverance and self-control.
