Welcome to our Youth Visual Arts Program, where young imaginations come to life! We offer a variety of engaging classes designed to nurture creativity, build confidence, and develop artistic skills in a fun and supportive environment. Whether they’re exploring art for the first time or honing their budding talents, there’s something here for every child. Interested in an adult class? We offer those too!
Parent-Tot Clay: Get hands-on with clay alongside your child. Together, you’ll explore hand-building techniques and create delightful keepsakes while fostering a love for tactile, creative expression.
Crafting Closet: Dive into an imaginative world of crafting! From paper art to mixed-media projects, this class allows kids to experiment with a variety of materials to create unique masterpieces.
Youth Photography: Help your child see the world through a new lens! This class introduces the basics of photography, including composition, lighting, and storytelling, giving kids the tools to capture their unique perspective.
Painting: Watch your child’s creativity blossom as they explore color, texture, and technique. Using watercolor, acrylics, and more, this class helps kids develop their skills and confidence in painting.

Under the guidance of Ms. Susan, an experienced instructor from Paint Cellar, children ages 10-15 will learn the step-by-step process of painting, from initial sketch to final brushstroke. Painting with Susan is a kids’ painting class that will help students explore various painting techniques, discover their unique artistic style, receive personalized guidance, and add their individual creative touches to make their own masterpieces. As a class we will have fun seeing each other’s work and gain insight into our own possibilities.

A: All materials are provided, though children in the Youth Photography class are encouraged to bring their own camera or smartphone if possible.
