Frequently
Asked
Questions

Q: Do you offer art supplies for classes, or should participants bring their own?

A: We do supply our art classes with different materials. The exception is our pottery class, where adult students need to buy a bag of clay as well as the firing fee, which is sold separately. If you fire your items in your own home kiln, you do not need to purchase the firing fee. This fee covers every piece of art you can create with your 25 lb. bag of clay.

Q: Are there opportunities for local artists to showcase their work at the recreation center?

A: Currently, there are not any opportunities, though we hope to expand this in the future.
