Hip Hop Classes

Hip hop dance is all about self-expression, rhythm, and high-energy movement! Our Hip Hop classes offer kids a fun and exciting way to get active while learning to dance to the latest beats. Whether your child is new to hip hop or ready to take their skills to the next level, we offer two levels of hip hop classes to help them grow.

In Hip Hop 1, students will explore the basics of hip hop dance, focusing on body isolations, sharp movements, and the creative freedom that this style offers. In Hip Hop 2, kids who have already mastered the basics will continue to refine their technique and learn more advanced choreography. These classes are designed to build confidence, coordination, and rhythm while keeping the energy high and the moves fresh!

Benefits of Hip Hop Dance Classes:

  • Improved Rhythm and Timing: Hip hop dance focuses heavily on rhythm, helping students develop a stronger sense of timing and musicality.
  • Increased Coordination: Body isolations and sharp movements in hip hop help improve overall coordination and body control.
  • Strength and Flexibility: The dynamic moves in hip hop require strength, particularly in the core and legs, and help improve overall flexibility.
  • Teamwork and Social Skills: Hip hop classes are often taught in group settings, fostering collaboration, teamwork, and social connections.
  • Fun and Energetic: With high-energy music and dynamic moves, hip hop is an exciting way to stay active while having fun.
  • Memory and Focus: Learning and remembering choreography helps improve memory, focus, and attention to detail.
