Fox Hill Park: 2024 Improvement Project Plan

About the Location: Fox Hill Park is a 40-acre park located at 4825 South Himalaya Street. It currently features a playground for kids ages 2-12, a basketball court, rentable picnic shelter, and 0.5 mile walking trail (called Fox Hill Trail) that connects to West Tollgate Trail in the southeast corner of the park.
December 2024
After several months of unexpected delays, the 2024 Fox Hill Improvement Project began construction in December 2024.
February 2025
Despite heavy snow and other weather delays, construction continued at Fox Hill Park with the formalization of social trails and the removal of the basketball court.
April 2025
TPRD published its "Fox Hill Park Improvement: Update 1" blog, which features drone images taken at the end of March. These pictures show the new crusher-fine social trails, the new basketball court, and the ongoing construction for the new playground for kids ages 2-5.
Moving Forward
Construction is moving full steam ahead, with the project expected to finish in early summer 2025.

This project is made possible with funds from Arapahoe County Open Space and the City of Centennial. Please note that the design concepts and timeline presented are subject to change based on cost, weather, and needs.Â
