If you’ve been searching for a gym with childcare, look no further! The Trails Recreation Center’s Childcare Department is the perfect place for you to drop your child off at while you’re working out and enjoying the rec center. We currently require reservations, so please sign up each child that will be attending the nursery. We offer 2-hour time slots for children 3 months to 9 years of age.
Our childcare staff are trained and experienced in providing developmentally appropriate activities that promote learning and play. Each staff member is CPR/AED/First Aid certified and have previous childcare experience.
If you purchase a nursery punch card online, please be sure to bring your receipt to the nursery staff after your purchase. Please also label all personal items.

What does a red wristband mean?
Q: What are the Childcare Department’s hours of operation?
A: The Childcare Department’s hours are as follows:
Monday-Thursday: 8am-12pm & 5pm-7pm
Friday: 8am – 12pm
Saturday: 8am-11:30am
Who can pick up my child?
Q: Who can pick up my child?
A:Â To ensure the safety of all kids, children will be released only to those individuals who initially dropped them off. Individuals must be 18 years old to pick up a child from the nursery.Â
What is your snack policy?

A:Â You are welcome to bring a small snack, however we do not allow any peanut products of any kind. No snacks are provided by staff.
Do I have to pay for the Childcare?
Q: Do I have to pay for Childcare?
A: Children can stay in the nursery for a maximum of 2 hours each day. If you are in District the rate to pay at the Front Desk is $3.50 per hour for 1 child, and Out of District $4.50 per hour for 1 child.
Do I need to stay in the building while my child is in childcare?
Q: What are the Pool temperatures?
A: While your child is in the Trails Childcare department, you are required to stay in the building during this time.
