Trails Recreation Center Lap Pool Closure: Update 2

Since the pool’s closure on January 1 due to a suspected leak, we have been working diligently with multiple contractors to identify and resolve the issue. Initial testing and repairs have led to unforeseen complications, requiring further analysis to confirm the exact location of the leak. Our next step involves refilling the pool and conducting multiple dye and sonar tests.

Our priority is not only to reopen the pool as quickly as possible but also to protect the structural integrity of the pool and facility while ensuring responsible use of taxpayer resources.

While we do not yet have a firm reopening date, we are making every effort to resolve the issue and hope to reopen by April.
