Welcome to our Fall Special Events page! As the leaves change and the air turns crisp, we’re excited to offer a lineup of exciting and diverse events to celebrate the season. Whether you’re a sports enthusiast, an art lover, a fitness buff, or a family looking for fun, we have something for everyone this fall. Join us for our annual golf tournament and disc golf tournament for some friendly competition on the green, or explore the creativity of our community at our fall pottery sale. Lace up your running shoes for our 5K race through scenic autumn landscapes, or bring the family out to our Touch-A-Truck event for an interactive experience with fascinating vehicles. With a variety of events to choose from, there’s no shortage of ways to embrace the spirit of fall with us!

Trails Fall Community Events

The Trails Golf Tournament has a shotgun start and features 18 holes of golf, a golf cart for you and your team, tournament apparel, and a luncheon. You can also purchase mulligans to help you out on the green and enter to win a prize from a variety of raffles. Proceeds go toward the Trails Youth Athletics, and space is limited, so begin compiling your roster of perfect players and register soon! Click here to learn more about this event.

We are so excited to announce the inaugural Disc Golf Tournament! Join us at Tall Grass Park and navigate two rounds on our challenging 9-hole course. Bask in the vibrant colors of fall as you aim for victory and witness your name ascend the leaderboard. It’ll be a day of competition, camaraderie, and the chance to etch your name in history. Rev your engines and prepare for a morning with the coolest vehicles in town at our FREE annual Touch-a-Truck event! This family-friendly extravaganza is a unique opportunity for kids and adults alike to explore, touch, and climb aboard an impressive array of vehicles, from fire trucks to semi-trucks to garbage trucks! Lace up your running shoes and join us for a race or walk where every step counts towards raising awareness for mental health. Let’s run, walk, and talk about mental health as we navigate the route through Piney Creek Hollow Park. Register today for the Trails 5k Walk/Run and race for a more compassionate future. Join us as we commemorate two decades of serving our incredible community with the Trails Recreation Center during a special Trails 20th Anniversary Open House! 

This event features an exquisite collection of handcrafted pieces created by the talented students and teachers of the Trails Rec Center’s art and pottery classes. From intricate pottery to stunning artwork, our sale offers a wide variety of unique items perfect for any taste.
