Trails Private Swimming Lessons

At Trails Park and Recreation District, we understand that every swimmer has unique goals and abilities, which is why we offer private swim lessons in addition to our group swimming classes. These one-on-one swimming lessons are perfect for anyone who feels uncomfortable in a group setting, wants to improve their strokes, is looking for swim guidance, or is seeking specialized swim team training.

Q: Who can benefit from private swim lessons?

A: Individuals of all ages and skill levels, including beginners, intermediate swimmers, advanced swimmers, and those training for competitions or triathlons.

Q: What should I bring to my swim lessons?

A: Swimsuit, towel, swim cap (if desired), and goggles (if desired).

Q: Can lessons be customized to meet specific goals?

A: Yes, lessons can be tailored to meet specific goals such as improving stroke technique, building endurance, or preparing for a swim competition. Talk with your private swim instructor to discuss what your personal goals are for each session.

Q: What is the cancellation policy for private swim lessons?

A: Should the need arise to cancel your private/semi-private lesson, 24 hours advance notice is required to your instructor OR by calling the Recreation Center at 303-269-8400. If you cancel your lesson and fail to provide adequate notice, you will be charged for the session. Participants who cancel more than three lessons in a row may lose their scheduled time slot and be re-scheduled, if an instructor is available.
