A Walk Through Our Parks
Trails Park and Recreation District owns, permits, and maintains 20 different parks throughout Eastern Centennial and portions of unincorporated Arapahoe County with:
- 13 rentable shelters
- 2 large picnic pavilions
- 6 basketball courts
- 1 frisbee disc golf course
- 4 baseball or softball fields
- 1 football field
- 12 playgrounds
- 1 sledding hill
- 9 multi-use sports field
- 25 miles of walking trails
TPRD Parks
Regional Parks
Piney Creek Hollow Park
Built in 2004, this 46-acre park is one of the most popular parks within the Trails Park and Recreation District and regularly hosts district events like summer celebration, trunk or treat, and a 5k. Â

Spring Creek Park
Built in 2005, this 57-acre park is one of the most popular parks within the Trails Park and Recreation District and regularly hosts district events like our annual Trunk or Treat.Â

Lookout Park
Lookout Park features a rentable shelter with picnic tables and an excellent view of the Rocky Mountains and Denver Area.

Pioneer Park
This 4-acre park features a walking trail next to a creek, large trees, and grassy areas where you can gather with friends and family.Â

- A paved walking path (part of West Tollgate Trail)

Tall Grass Park
This 9.35-acre park is one of newest community parks. Â Â

This community 6-acre park is located near Parker Road.

Fox Hill Park
This 40-acre park features a park, walking trail, and open space area.

Indian Ridge Park
Indian Ridge Park  has a rentable shelter, playground, grassy area, and disc-golf course.

This 2.4-acre park is a popular neighborhood park.Â

Peakview North Park
This 2.7-acre park features a full basketball court and multi-use sport field.

Peakview South Park
This 5-acre park is located next to Peakview Elementary School and features a playground and sports field.Â

Peakview West Park
This 3-acre park is a great neighborhood park with large grassy areas for picnicking and playing sports.

Ridge Park
This 0.7-acre park is next to Antelope Ridge Elementary School.Â

Saddle Rock Ridge Park
This 5-acre park is mostly used for its many walking trails.

Toll Gate Park
This 28.3-acre park is a beautiful park with vast amounts of natural open space.

Trails Park
This 0.17-acre park is located between Trails Recreation Center and Trails Skatepark. Park improvements are currently in the planning phases.

Willow Trace Park

Cherokee Trail Parcel
Cherokee Trail Park Parcel is currently in an undisturbed natural state. Trails Park and Recreation hopes to develop this 10-acre parcel of land in the future.

Prairie Winds Park
Prairie Winds Park, located in the Copperleaf Neighborhood, is currently in an undisturbed natural state, though this 33-acre parcel of land is currently in the planning phase. To learn more about this project, click here.

We do weekly park and trail inspections, but we can’t always catch all the fallen trees, cracked sidewalks, leaking bathrooms, or playground malfunctions out there.
